Of course, I am a huge fan of Hunter so far but I have my eye on Mackenzie's brothers Mason and Cooper as well. I plan to continue this series that stirs memories of my childhood in New Jersey.

We were left with a cliffhanger in the first book [bookTrying Not To Love You|17611313]. I was hoping for a HEA in this book. It seem that this book for stretch out to make Kenzie and Hunter fillers in the book. You get a sneak peak in the relationships with Mason and Hailey told by them. The storyline was interesting but it just seemed to be stretched to make a story. I love Hunter and Kenzie but in this book it was just ok. Tell me the story of the first couple H&K before starting the story of the next couple M&H. I wanted and needed a ending to Hunter's story!!! Then at the end give me a peak at what is coming up with everyone else.
And the story continues, So much drama in this, this story starts out with McKenzie in the hospital and in A coma after a bad car wreck while she's 9 mos pregnant with her and Hunters baby, Hunter doesn't leave her side at all..swoon-sigh..I just LOVE Hunter!! Two families have come together so close in this story, there's Hunter an his sister Jaylynn and their mom then there's McKenzie and her three brothers Jackson, Cooper and Mason ( the twins) and their mom and dad, and Chloe ( Jackson's wife- he married in the last book and their baby) And let's not forget Hailey, Mckenzies bff that's totally hooked up with crazy ass Mason(Menzies most over protective brother of them all!!!) in book one kenzies brother's were so protective of her she was even lucky she got to date! All throughout her childhood she had one love and THAT was Hunter, they were each other's first kiss, an electrifying one at that(that came from a simple game of truth or dare) they both knew of their strong feelings for one another but the brothers got in the way of that happening so they dated other people but with a little luck they found their way back to each other and Hunter was mckenzies first, which made this so AWESOME..but as THIS story started unfolding there was things coming out and secrets kept and After McKenzie awaking from her coma, Hunter just wanted to protect her at all costs..to keep stress off of her after the ordeal of almost losing her..But McKenzie is not a kid anymore and she doesn't like being left in the dark, her brother's have done this stuff to her before, but for Hunter to do it, well That's a whole new kinda bad! Sometimes secrets will tear a couple apart no matter what the intentions are...I so Love the family dynamics and the Love between both families that are intertwined in this story, the drama the angst, the bantor between all in this amazing series..I definitely CAN'T wait to read the next!! A Biggo 5 stars for this!!
Easy to Love You (ETLY) is the second novel in Megan Smith's The Love Series and picks up where the first book, Trying Not to Love You (TNTLY) left readers cliff hanging.

No matter what struggles lay before us, we will keep going, because we had the will and strength to overcome it all. No matter what was beyond our control, nothing would ever make us less than the family we were.

Overall, I absolutely LOVED Easy to Love You. I felt like in this installment, the characters had matured significantly since we first met them in TNTLY, but at the same time, they were still the same.

"I don't know if I tell you enough Hunter, but I'm so proud of you." She got teary eyed. She looked down at her hands and said, "If it was anyone else, I'm not sure if they would have stuck around."

I fell in love with Hunter all over again. He was forced to fight for his family and the love of his life all while facing unexpected twists beyond his control. Page after page, his internal struggles and guilt made my heart ache while the unending love and loyalty for his family made me root for him the entire story.

Something new to ETLY was how Megan incorporated passages from Mason and Hailey's points-of-view. Hailey has quickly become one of my favorite female characters because she was the perfect amount of sarcasm and spunk to balance out the heavier moments in ETLY.

The storyline had me engaged from start to finish. The author incorporated a variety of lighthearted and tender moments with some heavier drama and several twists that felt like a punch to the chest. I laughed, I cringed, I gasped, and I cried but not once did I want to put ETLY down. I felt satisfied with the ending and thought it was the perfect segue in to Hard to Love You (Book Three in The Love Series), which is Mason and Hailey's spin-off novel.

If you haven't already one-clicked Trying Not to Love and Easy to Love You, you must be living under a rock. These are two MUST READS for 2013, so go give your clicking finger a workout!
